It’s very confusing to be a girl. On one hand you have documentaries and books blaming the media for self-image issues and eating disorders and rising teen pregnancies. Then on the other hand you have things like SlutWalk that say its fine to dress like a slut or even be one because that should never warrant rape. Why are there two extremes? You must either aspire to be the female president and be pure or you must show your body to assert your worth. I don’t understand why it’s come to this. Males don’t have to look toward anything for self-identity. They are what they are. Women are either frigid shrews or whores. Why can’t girls just be girls?
